A diet rich in protein, vitamin and minerals like calcium, iron, zinc and silica gives strength to hair follicles and helps to prevent hair loss. The Outer covering of potatoes, cucumber and Bean sprouts have a high concentration of silica. Green and leafy vegetables like beans and spinach are a good source of iron and minerals. This oil is a combination of well-known hair growth promoting herbs such as Arnica Montana, Jaborandi, Amla, Bhringraj, Brahmi, and Sandalwood. Due to these medicated herbs, Arnica-Jaborandi Hair growth helps to reduce hair-fall and regenerates hair growth by stimulating hair follicles. Other oil like coconut oil, almond oil and olive also can be used. Best time to oil your scalp is at night. Gently massage your hair & scalp, leave it overnight and wash your hair in next morning. You can also massage your scalp with oil 2-3 hours before getting into the shower. But keep in mind that don’t keep oil on your hair & scalp for long. Excessive oil on scalp for long period can cause more dandruff.

3. Shampoo & Conditioning

Use of the shampoo depends on your hair type. Some of you may need to wash your hair daily or alternate day, for others once a week is enough. Use simple and natural shampoo, like Arnica Shampoo, to remove dirt and extra oil from your hair and scalp. Shampoos loaded with the harmful chemical can damage your hair. Dr. Jyoti recommends that frequently washing of your hairs should be avoided especially for women as they have long hair. Doing shampoo once or twice a week is good for the health of hair.

For Scalp with Dandruff- If you are suffering from the dry scalp with dandruff, you should use effective minerals shampoos such as Dead sea Minerals shampoo, which can effectively remove dandruff from your hair & scalp and provides dandruff free bouncy hair which adds shine to your hair.

How to wash your Hair- As per requirement of your scalp, you can wash your hair daily or weekly. The water used for cleansing your hair should not be too hot or cold. If you are suffering from hair-fall, don’t do hard massage on the scalp with shampoo. Take some shampoo and dilute it in some water and then pour it on your scalp. Use your fingertips and gently massage your scalp. Don’t use your nails as it can harm your hair roots.
